What Does a Tire Sales & Installer Pro Do?
Tire Technicians play an important role in keeping customers safe on the road by performing tire installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection services.
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires
- Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation
- Perform tire pressure checks and basic vehicle maintenance services
- Safely operate automotive tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Assist customers with tire and vehicle service needs in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while developing hands-on automotive skills
Customer & Sales Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive and helpful customer experience
- Communicate with customers, team members, and vendors
- Create service requests and review invoices with customers
- Recommend appropriate tire and service solutions
- Help achieve store sales and service goals
Tire & Service Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, and repair tires
- Perform oil and filter changes and preventive maintenance
- Complete vehicle courtesy checks and inspections
- Assist with tire installation and related service work
- Safely operate tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
