Most vehicles follow a general maintenance schedule to keep things running properly over time:
3,000–7,500 miles (or 3–6 months): Oil change and tire rotation, plus a basic inspection
Around 15,000 miles: Air filters checked or replaced and brakes inspected
Around 30,000 miles: Air filter replacement, transmission fluid check, fuel system check, and more in-depth brake service if needed
Around 60,000 miles: Spark plugs may be replaced, along with coolant service and inspection of belts and hoses
Around 90,000–100,000 miles: Larger services like timing belt replacement (if equipped), transmission service, and a full vehicle inspection

Most vehicles should receive an oil change every 5,000 – 7,500 miles or about every six months. However, depending on your vehicle and driving habits, more frequent oil changes may be necessary. Conditions such as extreme temperatures, regularly carrying heavy loads, or primarily taking short trips (under five miles) can increase the need for more frequent service.
Brake pads should be inspected every 6,000 –12,000 miles or approximately every six to twelve months, depending on your driving habits. Brake fluid should typically be flushed and replaced every two years to ensure optimal braking performance and safety.
It is recommended to replace your vehicle’s air filters every 12,000 – 30,000 miles or at least once a year. More frequent replacements may be necessary if you regularly drive in dusty or dirty conditions.
Most vehicle batteries last between 3 – 5 years. To avoid unexpected failures, it’s suggested to have your battery tested annually once it reaches the 3-year mark.
